Hawaiʻi Island police have located 70-year-old John Richard Strange of Hilo, who was reported missing.
He was found Wednesday morning unharmed in Pāhoa.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 70 year-old Hilo man.
John Richard Strange was last contacted by a caretaker on December 3, 2013 and has not been seen since. Strange is described as a Caucasian male, about 5’8” tall, weighing about 160 pounds, tan complexion, brown eyes, and wavy grey medium length hair and a full beard. Strange has several tattoos on both inner forearms. He uses a wheelchair for mobility and also requires medication.
Strange’s family is concerned for his safety and well-being.
