Barack’s Sister on Big Island this Saturday at Several Events

Maya Soetoro-Ng, sister of Democratic nominee Barack Obama, will be campaigning for her brother on the Big Island on Satruday, September 13. The Obama campaign will also announce that Sen. Russell Kokubun, Rep. Dwight Takamine, and Rep. Josh Green have agreed to serve as the honorary co-chairs for the Obama campaign on the Big Island.

The open media events are as follows:

8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Breakfast with Hawaii State AFL-CIO, ILWU Hall, 100 W. Lanikaula Street, Hilo (breakfast attendees must RSVP through their union)

11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Speech at Rep. Dwight Takamine’s Fundraiser, Honoka’a Hongwanji, 45-5016 Plumeria Street, Honokaa

3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Speech at Hawaii for Obama Rally, Thelma Parker Gym, 67-1225 Mamalahoa Highway, Waimea
