North Kona to Get New Fire Station

It looks like the North Kona – Kau area will be getting a new fire station soon.  The Department of Public works recently was approved with conditions the following:

Special Permit to allow the establishment of a fire station and related uses on approximately 2.80 acres of land within the State Land Use Agricultural District.
