Most Recent Hawai’i Islands Most Wanted Crime Stoppers Television Program

The most recent edition of the Crime Stoppers television program “Hawaiʻi Island’s Most Wanted” highlights a 22-year-old man wanted in a murder investigation, a 51-year-old man wanted on a bench warrant related to drug charges, and an 18-year-old man wanted for a robbery at a beach park.

The new episode began airing Friday.

In it, police ask for help in locating 22-year-old Boaz David Johnson.

His girlfriend’s body was found in the ocean off the Kalapana coast on May 28. The medical examiner ruled that the 25-year-old woman, Brittany Jane Royal, died from strangulation. Johnson is described as Caucasian, about 5-foot-7, about 150 pounds with a slim build and a fair complexion. He was last seen unshaven and with medium-length brown hair. He has a tattoo of the upper body of a horse near the right side of his abdomen. He is considered dangerous.

The television program also asks for help in locating a 51-year-old Arthur Clayton of Keaʻau, who is wanted on a $40,000 bench warrant related to drug charges.

He is also wanted for questioning in a theft investigation. He is described as 5-foot-5, 180 pounds with brown eyes and a bald or shaved head. He has a tattoo of a lion on his right shoulder.

In this latest edition of “Hawaiʻi Island’s Most Wanted,” Officer Patrick Menino also asks for help in locating an 18-year-old man wanted on a Grand Jury indictment related to a robbery at Kolekole Beach Park on February 6.

Tyler Taylor is described as 5-foot-6, 150 pounds with short black hair. He has no permanent address but frequents the Puna District.

Big Island police are searching for a 32-year-old Oahu man wanted on two bench warrants for contempt of court.

Joseph Roy Carrion frequently travels to the Big Island and may be in the Waikoloa area.

He is described as 5-foot-5, 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Big Island Police Looking For Punk Wanted on Disorderly Conduct and Assault

Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 31-year-old man wanted for questioning in a disorderly conduct and assault investigation over the weekend and on two outstanding warrants.

Rodney Impelido was last seen in Waimea. He is described as a Filipino, about 5-foot-7, 165 pounds with short black hair and tattoos on his neck, shoulders, calf and back.

Hale Nani Escapee Seen in West Hawaii

A 31-year-old Kailua-Kona man wanted for allegedly escaping from a correctional facility is reported to be in West Hawaiʻi.

Ryan Jeffries-Hamar

Ryan James Jeffries-Hamar was reportedly seen Wednesday afternoon in Kainaliu and Wednesday evening in Kailua-Kona. He is suspected of escaping from Hale Nani off Route 11 Tuesday afternoon (August 14).

He is described as Caucasian, about 5-foot-7, about 170 pounds with blue eyes and short reddish-blond hair. He has a tattoo along his entire right arm.

Although Jeffries-Hamar is not considered dangerous, police warn the public against contacting him and instead advise them to call police.

Big Island Police Asking Publics Help in Identifying Puna Burglary Suspect

Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a burglary suspect captured on camera early this year.

This man was seen leaving the area of a burglary in Puna on January 7.

On January 7 at about 7:30 a.m., Puna patrol officers responded to a call on Hanalei Drive in the Ainaloa Subdivision after witnesses reported suspicious activity at a residence.

Three individuals were observed in the area. Police arrested two Pāhoa men—20-year-old Thomas Daniel Wellman and 22-year-old Robert Roberto Galindez —on suspicion of first-degree burglary. They were later released pending further investigation.

The third man fled on foot. He is described as an adult male possibly in his early 20s with dark brown skin, black hair and a medium to heavy-set build. He was wearing a red shirt, beige shorts, a black cap and slippers. Police recovered a video and still image of the suspect taken as he left the area.

Big Island Police Looking for 25-Year-Old Man Wanted in Connection with Sexual Assault of Minor

3/1/12 UPDATE:

Big Island police have located 25-year-old Thomas Elijah Cummings IV of Laupāhoehoe, who was being sought.

He was arrested Tuesday afternoon (February 28) in Hāmākua on suspicion of continuous sexual assault of a minor.

After conferring with prosecutors, detectives from the Area I Juvenile Aid Section released him Thursday morning (March 1) pending further investigation.

Big Island police are requesting the public’s help in locating a 25-year-old Laupāhoehoe man wanted for questioning in connection with the sexual assault of a minor.

Detectives are seeking Thomas Elijah Cummings IV, who was last known to be living in the Laupāhoehoe Point area. He is described as part-Hawaiian, 5-foot-4, 212 pounds with short black hair, brown eyes, a large build and a fair-to-lightly-tanned complexion.

Detectives with the Juvenile Aid Section are continuing this investigation.

Big Island police are searching for a 24-year-old Puna man wanted in connection with a burglary investigation.

Turner Kaimana Au is described as 5-foot-10, 180 pounds with short blond or brown hair and green eyes. His last known address was in Kurtistown.
